Why does a full check cost £5.99?
MotoMarket's launch price is £5.99 for one full report. You're paying for a digital vehicle history check, not a physical inspection. The included checks are listed above, so you can compare coverage as well as price. A lower price doesn't mean every record or vehicle detail will be available.
Where does the information come from?
Our primary provider is Vehicle Data Global (VDG). Its full-check package supplies DVLA vehicle data, Experian finance records, Police National Computer (PNC) stolen status and Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud and Theft Register (MIAFTR) write-off records. MotoMarket presents the returned information in one report; we don't operate those registers. MOT history is based on DVSA test records.
Does a clear report guarantee a safe purchase?
No. A clear result means no matching issue was returned by the relevant check at that time, not that the vehicle has never had a problem. Records can be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. A history report doesn't replace checking the VIN and V5C, inspecting the vehicle or confirming any finance settlement before you pay.
Will every accident or repair appear?
No. Insurance write-off records aren't a complete accident or repair history. Damage repaired privately, or incidents not recorded on the checked registers, may not appear. Have the vehicle inspected if you have any doubts about its condition.
Do I need to run the free check first?
No. Enter a registration or a 17-character VIN and choose Full Report to go straight to the full-check purchase. The free check is optional. Full reports are saved to your account so you can return to them later; a new check is a separate purchase or uses another credit.
