Who we are
MotoMarket is a trading name of MEZA Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 16439188), registered office 1 St Davids Square, London, E14 3WA. Contact: support@motomarket.uk. By using MotoMarket you agree to these terms.
Using MotoMarket
MotoMarket is a classifieds marketplace that helps private buyers, sellers and dealers find and communicate about vehicles. MotoMarket is not the buyer, seller, owner, dealer, broker, mechanic or payment provider in a transaction between users. You must be 18 or over to create an account.
Vehicle history reports and pricing
Free basic checks show selected DVLA and MOT information. Full History Reports cost £5.99 each, or £13.99 for a pack of three report credits. Prices include VAT where applicable and are shown before payment. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Pack credits do not expire and are non-transferable.
Reports are compiled from third-party data sources at the time of the check. We take care to present them accurately but cannot guarantee that third-party records are complete or error-free.
Cancellation and refunds
A history report is digital content supplied immediately. By purchasing, you ask us to supply it straight away and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations once the report has been generated.
If a payment is taken but no report is delivered, or a report is materially faulty, contact support and we will re-run the check, restore your credit or refund you. Unused pack credits can be refunded on request within 14 days of purchase. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Account responsibilities
You must provide accurate account information, keep access to your account secure and use the service lawfully. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for checking messages, offers and listing details before acting on them.
Seller and listing rules
Sellers must have the right to advertise the vehicle and must describe its identity, ownership, condition, history, mileage, price and availability honestly. Photographs must show the advertised vehicle and must not infringe another person’s rights.
Fraudulent, misleading, duplicate or unlawful adverts are prohibited. You must not submit a false, altered, cloned or unrelated registration mark, conceal a material defect, manipulate mileage, impersonate another person or use MotoMarket to obtain money or information deceptively.
DVLA lookup and vehicle checks
A successful DVLA lookup indicates that submitted vehicle details matched available vehicle records; it is not proof of ownership, roadworthiness, mechanical condition, finance status, theft status or a clear vehicle history. Buyers must inspect the vehicle, verify the seller and V5C, and complete independent HPI and background checks before paying.
Buyer responsibilities
Buyers must assess each advert independently. Check the vehicle in person where possible, compare the frame and registration details with the V5C, review service and MOT records, arrange a professional inspection where appropriate, and use a safe and traceable payment method. Never rely solely on a listing, badge, message or vehicle lookup.
Offers, messages and transactions
Messages and offers help users discuss a possible sale but do not make MotoMarket a party to the transaction. Users are responsible for agreeing the final price, collection or delivery, payment, transfer of ownership, insurance, tax and any other transaction terms.
Moderation and enforcement
We may review reports and remove, limit or suspend content or accounts that appear unsafe, unlawful, misleading or contrary to these terms. We may preserve relevant records and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. Moderation does not amount to an endorsement or guarantee of any user or listing.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep MotoMarket useful and available, but listings, messages, third-party data and service access may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MotoMarket is not responsible for user conduct, listing accuracy, vehicle condition or history, or losses arising from a transaction between users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
